We are offering our home on VRBO for the first time. Be one of the first VRBO guest to enjoy our original 1940's Folly Beach Bungalow - don't be alarmed by the age of the house because it has been completely renovated with all modern conveniences. The two bedroom/two bath bungalow has an updated kitchen featuring a Viking Glasstop Stove and granite countertops. Also, equipped for your comfort, is a tankless hot water heater and central heat/air. Both bathrooms are completely updated with ceramic tile. The living room and both bedrooms have large screen televisions for your enjoyment. also, there is also a comfortable queen pull out pottery barn sofa which can be used for extra guests!
the bungalow comes fully equipped with linens, towels, hair dryers, and all needed kitchen utensils, including toaster oven, blender, slow cooker, etc Cable TV and Wi-Fi are also included.
our location is excellent! the bungalow is less than a 3 minute walk to the ocean and a short two blocks to downtown center street - which is the heart of folly Center street boasts quirky little beach stores; locally owned restaurants and bars - everyone is super excited for the grand opening of Folly's newest restaurant - Coconut Joes! Also, a short half block away is the famous Berts Market - If you need it, you can find it there. And if you know anything about Folly - you know Bert's Market may Doze....but they never close!
recreational areas, including pickle ball and tennis courts are also located near by A trip to Folly must include a visit to the historic Morris Island Light House, located on the east end of the island and a visit to the Folly Beach County Park on the west end.
no visit to folly is complete without visiting historic downtown charleston, which is only a 12 mile drive
after a full day in the sun or sightseeing, you can relax on our all-season front porch there is a swing bed there to catch a nap or to people watch - i guarantee you - it's always interesting sights going by!
